The NREM Wildland Fire Program was established in 2012 to improve fire science and fire management capacity in the Pacific Island region. The program conducts applied research and engages with diverse clients through extension activities and products. The program also supports other Cooperative Extension programs to integrate climate information and identify climate adaptation strategies.
